1 ) Don't leave too much headroom 2 ) Position subject with sun behind them and use low power flash 3 ) To make subject appear slimmer, extend your zoom all the way out 4 ) Turn subj so shoulder does not face the camera, less confrontational 5 ) To make subject look slimmer, leave a gap between arm and body 6 ) To shoot outdoor portrait, use the smallest number f-stop so that the focus is shallow, background blurred.
