After installing ipad baseband 6.15.00, you will get 1605 error when restoring firmware using itunes.
This appears to be a problem when you wanna upgrade/downgrade the firmware via itune.
To solve:
After shift restoring using itunes, use iReb to bypass 1604 error
Use redsn0w to reflash jailbroken firmware
update cydia ( automatic )
//This step is important to update the repositories.
Finally, install ultrasn0w to unlock

For IOS 5.1.1, use absinthe. There is NO NEED to enter DFU mode. Just connect and jailbreak. If you encounter problems, reflash with a clean IOS image and try.
Note that Cydia's icon may not appear. Use spotlight to launch it. The screen will show "Initializing Filesystem" during the first launch. Wait for it to finish. DO NOT REBOOT the iphone during this phase else you will need to start all over again! i.e reflash and rejailbreak!
